A full cooked breakfast is served from 6.15am Mon - Fri. A continental breakfast is available at weekends unless a cooked breakfast is arranged for group bookings.

We have recently refurbished the Bailey Ground Hotel and all 28 rooms are en-suite with colour TV, Netflix and Sky Sports (showing main events).

The tariff includes a full English breakfast or a extensive continental breakfast using our own produce.

The Restaurant, which overlooks the Irish Sea, is open every evening serving our own produce cooked to traditional cumberland recipes, including daily specials.

 North Gate Caldergate CHP is 5 mins or 1 mile

Staying at the Bailey Ground Lodge has another advantage for contractors or visitors to Caldergate CHP and that is that you can be at work in about 5 minutes from our hotel.

As opposed to sitting in heavy traffic ques all Southbound for up to an hour, cars backed up passed Egremont and all bound for one place. You can have a leisurely breakfast at 7.30 am at the Bailey Ground Lodge and still be in work for 8am.

Our Hotels at Seascale are perfect for group bookings as at weekends are  virtually free as Sun or Mon to Thursday they are full with professionals and workers at Sellafield.
